  It was our first time in Frankfurt and we wanted an hotel which offered an airport shuttle service. Due to the fact that we only stayed for one night, I believe this hotel was one of the best ones in value that I've ever been to. The airport shuttle is free of charge and was on time (both from the airport and to the airport). What a fantastic gesture - My main criteria for hotels mainly are- room with a view and balcony preferred though this is not commonly found for city hotel, but this hotel does:) Ideal for city trip cause its close from main town with literally 5mins drive to Frankfurt Main Train Station by cab. I had a double bed room for single occupancy, it was perfect size, comfy and bright. Shower and hot water works perfectly, weather was cold outside but seems hotel set temperature was perfect that I did not need to switch on the

  We booked the Star for Thursday night only as the Mercure where we were based during the Bahá'í Conference did not have their special negotiated rate until Friday. We had a large, double aspect room with tea/coffee-making facilities, t.v. and en-suite shower.   the front desk staff was very friendly. the hotel was newer and very clean. the air conditioning was appreciated! - Great value. Less than 10 minutes from the airport by cab. There's a shuttle available to take to/from the hotel, but it must be arranged in advance. A 7 AM shuttle from the hotel to the airport was no problem for the hotel.
