  The staff was very friendly and helpful and the hostel was clean and tiddy. They sold the Berlin Welcome Card which was very convenient and they are right across from a U-bahn stop. They are also right by a road with a lot of traffic but the hostel is back off the street so you don't hear any of it, which is great.   The hostel is located really in a very good place. There is underground just close to it and there are many good places to eat just near the entrance of the hostel. Very nice lobby bar where you can relaxe and chat with friends. Very nett stuff. - Good location in Kreuzberg right by the subway station Mehringdamm. Very good value for money in central Berlin. Clean and comfortable air conditioned room, cheerful decor, excellent breakfast which is well worth the extra ten euros.   Helpfull staff (24 hours). Nice bed. Teenage son happy with the large sofa bed. Cleaning and new towels daily (like in more expensive hotels). Breakfast buffet was satisfactory. We didn't preorder breakast, but we got it at a discount price when we arrived. Breakfast tables both inside and under canopy in the yard. Free parking (24/7) in a nearby side street was relatively easy to get. 2 underground stations (diffe - Clean room, small but practical. Loads of bars/resteraunts just up the road, plus there was a market round the corner on certain dates. Serviced by two Ubahn stations a v short distance away that will get you into central Berlin easily enough. Not going to win any awards, but for the price per night exaclty what we needed
