  My friend and I visited Essen by motorbike. Unfortunately my motorbike didn't start anymore by leaving back to Holland. After 2,5 hours waiting for the German adac in vain, the husband of the owner of the Guesthouse Nordstern offered help to put my motorbike in his van and drove to a motorbike garage from his friend. The rooms are big enough, well equipped, clean and comfortable. Shower cabins in the room is a little bit awkward, but you can use the private ones down the hall. A big plus for the WiFi.   The atmosphere was wonderful, a true home-from-home. I stayed for six days for AILA 2008. The Acic family are lovely, I was arriving after midnight, so they gave me the code to the night entrance when I phoned.
