  The staff was very friendly and even though we weren't suppose to get our room until 3 pm, the front desk made an effort so we could get it sooner (at 11am). And in the room they had brought in a nice baby bett with covers and everything. The hotel is situated in the historical part of Garmish and you have all bars and restaurants within walking distance. The staff is friendly and helpful. The owners are personally involved in the daily management and they give you feeling of "being at home" from the very first minute. We were constantly asked whether "everyting is ok" and if we have additional wishes.   Loved this hotel. We have stayed in Garmish on many occasions and find this to be the best accommodation yet. A little more expensive but worth it.   Great value for the money in Germany. The staff made a point of remembering your personal preferences. I stayed at 2 different 5-star Hotels (one was even advertised as a Castle 5 star Hotel) in 2 different cities on the same trip.
