  Our 3 night stay in the Meininger Hotel/Hostel was faultless. Room was bigger than expected, clean and modern as photographed. Staff were excellent and helpful. There was a bar and pool table and space down stairs to chill out outside of the room.   Easy walking distance to central station or indeed right to city centre (half an hour or so) if you like a stroll. Friendly, helpful staff. Clean, comfortable room - no street noise that we heard. Nice little bar for a cheeky beer after a busy day. Public transport ans a few restaurants all in walking distance.   Straight shot to the city center, about a 15-20 walk or there is access to the transportatiom system about 5-10 min walk that will take you to the city center, museums, etc real quick. The staff was so helpful and was able to direct me anywhere I needed to go real easily! Breakfast was delicious and the service was real nice.   The pension was located a few hundred metres from a u Bahn station, which was only 2 stops away for the Central Station. It was very good value in an expensive week in Munich due to Trade Fair. The wifi was very cheap and accessible. There is a supermarket and bars and restaurants very close as well. As a solo traveller, I would definitely use again. - Our room 103 was much larger than anticipated and very clean and comfortable. It had a basic kitchen with a table and chairs and a fridge but no cooking facilities.Very close to the UBahn and only a few stops from the centre of Munich. Parking wasnt a problem. We parked in the street and used the Pension's parking pass for 3 euros a day.

  Loved this hotel! Such good value for the price. The room was so cool/modern & very stylish as was the foyer & bar area. Everything was very clean & our room was large as we had our daughter sleeping on a rollaway bed & still had plenty of room to move around. We arrived in Munich by train & found the walk to the Eurostars Hotel easy even with our suitcases. - My wife has stayed at most of the top hotels around the world.The Eurostars Grand Central would give any top hotel a run for their money. The Staff was very friendly, helpful and professional. The room was well appointed,clean and comfortable. The breakfast spread was delicious and varied. The location was excellent.
