  Great location near Alexanderplatz and easy shopping for groceries and supplies at the huge Alex shopping mall. Close to U-bahn and S-bahn stations, making travel around Berlin a breeze. Clean and modern style with a well appointed kitchen. Very attentive owners / staff that were there on time for our arrival and very responsive with all questions... mitä ihmiset sanovat » before and during our stay. - The apartment itself is very nice: large, clean and functionally furnished for four people and is well equipped with radios, televisions, fast wlan etc. The owner Annette is utmost helpful helping you arrange anything you dare to ask, for us she even boutght tickets to the football match. We felt even more comfortable in Voltaire apartment than in the city itself.

  We arrived well before check-in with the intention of only dropping our bags until the advertised check-in time.. The guy on the front desk could not have been more helpful, friendly and accommodating.. There's no breakfast at the hotel - my best advice here is to go to Alex restaurant (located in the bottom of the TV Tower), you can get buffet breakfast for 7 euros every day from 9 to 12. The apartment is in a quiet part of Karl Marx Strasse, 1 min from the tube, 10 mins walk from Alexanderplatz, 5mins from the Spree, 5 mins from Volkspark, and so is very central. We stayed in a one bedroom apartment that was larger than the place we live in normally(Quite a feat when staying in Europe).   The apartment was exactly as it was presented in the pictures and as was described by the owner. It was very clean and very quiet (it is located in a big street but doesn't overlook it). The location is perfect, the tram is 20m away and the Bahn station is 5 minutes walking distance, while at the same time you have countless small restaurants, bar... mitä ihmiset sanovat » s and cafes right at your doorstep. The owner was very helpful, giving us instructions for everything we needed, from emailing transportation instruct - I'd say that everything is fine with this apartments (Karl Marx Allee 137). It's clean and quite cosy. The kitchen is equipped with everything you need and moreover there were some oil, tea bags, salt and sugar - it helps when you've just arrived :) Taxi driver lost in this district, he didn't know any word in English and Anne explained him by phone what's a place he needs to get to.
