Nice clean room with a lovely view over the river. Host was friendly and helpful. Good breakfast. Kestert is not very big so if you are looking for entertainment or lots of restaurants a car is handy.
We stayed in the apartment and it deserves more than the two stars. It was clean, modern and comfortable. Certainly had everything we needed.

It was a little far away from Koblenz/Braubach area, so too hard if you aren't driving. But we had a car so that was fine.
The house was located close to the road and in the vicinity of two railways; there was a considerable noise. The discussion with the owner was rather difficult since she spoke only German. There were only two restaurants in the place, both offering not very tasty and overpriced meals.
