  The hospitality and friendliness of the family who run this hotel. Good food and wine. Excellent value. We arrived late at 9:15 pm after a long days ride and they cooked us a meal. Not many hotels would do that!   The rooms were large and nice with balconies. The food was excellent. The owner was very friendly and spoke very good English. He gave us tips for seeing the area. The rate I paid was very good for a single room of this quality. I would definitely go back. - very nice staff and clean room

  The place is wonderful. Rolfo the owner was extremely friendly and made us feel very welcome. The views from the windows are spectacular over the vineyards. The room is equipped with a little kitchen that has everything you need if you prefer eating at home. Very clean as well. We did not use the pool, but we saw it and it is great! Right next to the house there is a wonderful bakery that serves breakfas - The owners are very helpful, the indoors pool is quite nice (try jacuzzi-like thing, very funny :), our appartment was really comfortable and very clean, the view from the window fascinating (vineyards on the high slope over the Mosel river), nice promenade on the Mosel river and hiking trails just outside the door. Very good! Do not miss Dax winestube and Mosela schinkenstube and the bakerei just in front of the latter.
