  At first, I had booked a 16-day stay at the standard rate, which did not include a desk and a chair. I immediately upgraded and had a very enjoyable stay. I was also a little disappointed that there were few cafes and restaurants in the neighborhood and that the hotel seemed to be in a business district and residential apartment district. The location is excellent, around the corner from the Spittelmarkt U-bahn station. There are eateries near the station--a bakery, konditorei and bierstube restaurant.
