  Contrary to some negative reviews, we found the breakfast great and the staff helpful and visibly eager to please as they busied about their different tasks.   Very nice hotel, friendly personnel. Budget friendly. Nice and clean rooms. Quite close to the train station (around 5 min. On foot). However if you are traveling with chest baby and carriage it could be the problem. There are 2 underground passages on the way with lot of stairs and no elevator. Restaurant food is quite ok.   It's a cheap hostel that has great location- very close to the S-bahn (S5, S7, S75), U-bahn (U1), some trams and there's 24h supermarket (Kaisers) in front of the hostel. Rooms are clean, pretty big and heaters fortunately works. It's a tenement house but it's really nice. You share the bathroom with only 2 rooms. The girl that greeted us was extremely friendly and went out of her way to make sure we had all the information we needed to make our stay as enjoyable as possible in Berlin.   I loved the location, it was very close to the cool areas of berlin andyet quiet and safe. Also, the cleanliness was above par for a hostel.They computers where free also which was awesome.
