This is a basic 3 star hotel, perfectly located just a few steps away from the train station in Aachen. It was extremely easy for us to find it. Moreover, the location is also perfect to explore the old town center and all its attractions; in 5-7 minutes by foot you will reach the famous cathedral.
This is a family run hotel. Beware of the fact that not always is there someone in the reception, but they always leave a phone number on the door so you can contact them. We arrived at noon and we . kaikki arvostelut »
Easy to find. Just walk out of the front of the Bahnhof, cross the
street and turn left. Hotel is about fifty yards ahead on right. Rooms
are equipped for light cooking. Reasonably priced breakfast. Helpful
cooperative staff went out of their way to store our luggage for us so
we could make a morning visit into town....free of charge. No in room
"mini bar" to tempt the kids with expensive drinks. A short
one or two minute walk to beverage store and a variety of restaurants
and bakeries. No need.
The hotel was only a few blocks from the train station and not far from the old part of the city. The owner was very friendly. It was very reasonable.

Apart from the stairs the hotel was faultless.
No elevator...one of our rooms was on the third floor and the stairs are
steep and narrow. Thank God for teenage boys!.
There was no elevator, and it was a steep climb to my room on the first floor. The owner's husband did carry my bag up to my room. I couldn't tell from your web site if it had an elevator.

Being a mature couple we found the stairs to the rooms to be most daunting. My wife has artificial knees and if we were made aware of the stairs when booking we would have definitely looked elsewhere. I am not sure how these stairs were approved by the building inspector.
