  We travel a lot staying in many beautiful places all over the world and La Bonne Auberge has to be one of our absolute favourites! It's totally unique, peaceful and very romantic, like stepping back in time. Our kind and gracious host Bertrand welcomed us providing information about the area and history of this charming little village, places to e... mitä ihmiset sanovat » at nearby (we found a fantastic restaurant 15 mins away) and the best driving routes to continue on our journey including a free ferry service (10 min - Fantastic location and wonderful hosts. The view of the Seine is amazing (look out for the ocean going container ships which dwarf everything around them but pass by very quietly!), the thatched cottages are romantic, delightful and beautifully set out. Our apartment had a small fully equipped kitchen (which we didn't expect) with dishwasher, oven, fridge and microwave. It was lovely to sit on our own terrace with the lawn reaching down to the water's edge. The garden is filled with delightf
