Lovely staff; they were ALL very helpful & welcoming, nothing was too much trouble for them. Rooms were very modern, immaculately clean and serviced every day. Bed was ENORMOUS and very comfortable. Climate control in room was welcome as weather was very hot. Breakfast was excellent - wide choice of food available, all fresh, and as much as you wanted. Rooms were comfortable, had double glazing the hotel was calm and quiet. Good access to the town and easy to park the car near the hotel.

Cost of room via letsbookhotel.com was excellent. Included a basic breakfast. Good location with only a short walk over two bridges to the town center. Great location to explore the Loire Valley. My husband wants to commend the staff, he and his mate were travelling on motor bikes and the staff could not do enough to find them safe parking for the motorbikes overnight as well as help them in every other inquiry. He would like the staff to be recognised for their friendliness and willingness to put themselves out. As implied in the name, more stylish than the standard Ibis. Clean, fresh and comfortable. The staff are really welcoming and helpful (English is spoken when necessary). Excellent breakfast - lots of choice and - like every other aspect of this hotel - managed with real care and pride. Fantastic value for money. Absolutely everything. The hotel is modern, well designed and appointed, quiet, bright and spotlessly clean. It is staffed by people who are extremely welcoming, friendly and courteous. This high quality operation reflects very well upon the sound example set by the management. Only a couple of small things - clothes hanging space and storage was rather limited and bedside tables could do with drawers!. The stated "12 minute walk to the town" is somewhat optimistic. 20 minutes is closer to the mark. I'm guessing this is why it is so keenly priced. However it's a very pleasant and scenic walk across the Loire, so I'm very happy with the whole deal. There can be nothing to dislike. Our room was at the front, opposite the station, and my sleep was disturbed by trains the first night. After that I used ear plugs. There was nothing to complain about. Nothing/ rien Absolutely zilch! If that's a word?. Nothing. Nothing at all. Liked everything. Only downside is location, its a 15 walk to shops, restaurants etc but a pleasant one across the bridge over the loire, a little far for younger, but post pushchair age kids. There was nonstop water drip noise during the night, pity. Nothing. Not so close to downtown, 15 min walking. Beside station so not so nice area. Half mile (but picturesque ) walk to the main restaurants . The town doesn't have much to do, so if you don't have a car don't stay in Saumur. The hotel could use some clothing storage. Nothing really. Location is not perfect but still at a walk distance to city center. Nothing to dislike. flea in room.
