Location is perfect, a short walk from the town centre, but set back from the road, so quiet and peaceful. Convenient for restaurants, cafes and food shops. It has lovely grounds, a nice swimming pool, and secure parking. Owners were welcoming and very helpful: a problem with a TV resolved immediately – excellent restaurant recommendation. Spending the night in a cave that feel modern and has a swimming pool is great! The owner is very welcoming. You feel like you are staying at a friend's home. The yard is a great place to enjoy a glass of wine. You can bring a picnic with you. We were able to use the refrigerator. There is a large TV and leather sofa in the common area. The rooms are cozy and well decorated. The shower is nice also. The breakfast was good. Convienient location for seeing Amboise and nearby chateaux.

The hosts were absolutely fabulous. We arrived late in the afternoon & Francoise and Bernard were so gracious...a good start. A talk about the region showed they knew and cared about what guests want. Breakfast was superb with ample everything. Couldn't recommend it enough. A great place to put away the car and walk to all the attractions yet

We found staying at les Hauts Amboise more than comfortable and welcoming . It was well located to visit the Loire Valley with its many wonderful chateaus and outstanding gardens.
Amboise is great to eat and meet people and relax after a busy sight seeing.
