  This is one of the nicest hotels we have stayed at in Europe. Loved the beautiful room, big comfortable bed with superb bedding. We had room service for dinner, it was very good and delivered quite fast. I really liked the floor lighting around the toilet room at night, very good idea. They gave us some good ideas about what to see and do in the area, as well as Mont Saint M - It was easy to find in St Malo which was a bonus! Lovely new hotel right opposite the beach. Good parking and very pleasant and informative staff on arrival who showed us our room. Lovely room. We did not use the swimming pool or spa but I expect that it would have been very good. A top class restaurant is within the hotel but we had a drink at the beautiful bar instead. It was overlooking the beach and very chic. Drinks expensive but you do get what you pay for there.   The hotel was so delightful that we stayed an additional night - relaxing atmosphere and very comfortable, well located away from the tourist crowds, but near enough to get to the centre on foot. Some good restaurants even closer (recommend L' Atre).

  We loved everything - the location so close to the lovely old town, the sea view from our side balcony, the well equipped kitchenette, the huge bed, the modrrn decor, modern bathroom, great shower, nice towels and toiletries and the staff. We did not have breakfast but it was a very nice area. There is a supermarket a short walk a - Room is big and clean, all daily necesities are available, bed is quite comfortable. Reception staff very kind and helpfull, they gave us list of best local restaurants and advised which are the best - we tried 2 of 4 and both were perfect. Parking is inside hotel and spaceous enough for big car. Hotel located outside of old sity but it takes only 10-15 minutes walk and the route is going along seaside, so it is very pleasant.

  La Maison des Armateurs was in a wonderful location (although St. Malo is so small I'm not sure there is a "bad" location). The staff was friendly and helpful.
