  We stayed only 2 nights in Fabrice's beautiful home in the heart of Rennes but wish we had stayed much longer! Breakfast is served either in your room or in the lounge and is a beautiful selection of homemade crepes, pastries - The owner--Fabrice--has restored his home, which is the oldest in Rennes dating from the 15th century, in an historically-sensitive style and decorated it with authentic antiques. The room was elegant, quiet, and so comfortable that we were only sorry our visit was so brief because the location is perfect for visiting the old city.   Our room was near the back - it was large, light, modern, with a spacious bathroom, good shower, good coffee maker/espressso machine (once we had figured out how to use it). Noise wasn't a problem. Friendly, helpful staff. Convenient location - walking distance from old town. Plenty of restaurants nearby (and a great boulangerie 50m down street).... mitä ihmiset sanovat » Paid parking onsite. - reception staff were very helpful,the hotel is in a very good position, five minutes walk from the station & any easy walk to the old town.. We did have some issues but on the whole it was a comfortable stay.
