A the end of a long journey being met by Christophe and ushered to the lovely swimming pool to cool off was wonderful. We were only booked in overnight on our way to Calais from Carcassonne. We arrived after a 7 hour drive so a dip in the outdoor heated pool was a welcome and rejuvenating experience. The house is very romantic and charming and set in its own grounds so it is perfectly child friendly. Our hosts were extremely friendly and spoke perfect English. It's dog friendly (at €15 ea!) and if you have animals with you the best bet is to book the rooms by the pool, with access directly into the grounds. -

The staff made us feel welcome and were very accomodating! It was a quiet, beautiful retreat from the business of traveling.

The property is very interesting. Traditional, very well maintained and decorated with great taste. Our superior room was very spacious, overlooking the garden, and the bathroom was modern. Breakfast is very complete. We really enjoyed the heated outdoor pool, excellent for spending the afternoon. Overall a great base for visiting the Loire Valley.
