  We stayed at this hotel on our return journey from Southern France. It was easy to find and well situated in a small town, which was very appealing. The staff were very welcoming and friendly. Our room was in an annexe through the courtyard, and was situated right at the end of the building, and was extremely quiet. We ate in the restaurant, and found the food to be of exceptional quality and - The proprietor and his wife were welcoming and friendly. The room provided all that we needed. We had our elderly dog with us and she was made welcome. The evening meal options were good and the meal itself was good. If we need a stopover hotel again between SW France and the UK, then we will definitely consider this hotel.

The hotel is situated in the middle of the most beautiful countryside and is only 16 minutes drive from Claude Monet's house and garden.   Lovely old hotel with so much character, but the rooms were a real surprise; very modern and had a boutique hotel feel to them. The bathroom looked brand new. Would definitely stay again. - Bathroom ! Guy in charge on the night we stayed - couldn't have been more helpful. Will go back if we go down the same way again to sw France.

  We chose for an overnight stop on way back to Le Havre Ferry. Vry pleasantly surprised with the quality. Welcoming staff spoke good English. Hotel felt clean modern and well furnished. Good size room with comfortable bed. Clean bathroom with great shower. Excellent value. Close to two local restaurants. Good secure parking with key code access after 10pm. - We had driven for seven hours, and the night time receptionist spoke very good English, & was very friendly & welcoming. The room was comfortable, clean & quiet, with good tv & WiFi reception. And the morning receptionists were also friendly & helpful. And finally, at 44 Euros, value for money is excellent!
