The overall decor is typically old French, with paintings and classic design features. The bed was comfortable and the bathroom was spectacular and appeared to have been recently remodeled. The air-conditioning was great. For it's location (Latin Quarter), the price was quite reasonable. Communication with the hotel staff prior to our arrival was very friendly and helpful.

When I arrived, I was not sure whether I needed an additional night. he staff immediately were able to provide this for me (lucky).
The room they had assigned to me for the initially booked stay had had a smoker in it - I was moved to a very nice room immediately, no question.
Breakfast was fine for me. Bed was comfortable. Table/desk in the room allowed me to work comfortably when necessary. Location was excellent. I was entirely pleased and shall book there the next time I return to Paris

Our hotel room was amazing aswell as the bathroom! If you like luxury then I would totally recommend this hotel. I have stayed in Paris a few times but was the 1st time staying at opera diamond and I will certainly be staying here the next time, my sister and I stayed in a premier king room and was superb! A super place to stay if you like Bastille and Marais. And the appartment was perfect for my daughter and I. We have used this hotel 6 times! And the staff is very helpful - Very clean, homelike room with kitchen facilities, close to the metro station and to all attractions in Marais area. Would come again.
