It was a lovely little apartment. Quite small but not so small that
you felt crammed. It was very affordable for a private apartment
with a kitchen. The whole place is very clean which I always have as
a top priority!
The internet is good. Fast and reliable.
The area is very funky with some cool bars and restaurants. The little street it is on is buzzing in the evening but the amazing thing about the apartment is that if you closed the windows you couldn't hear ANYTHING. So sleeping is no troub. kaikki arvostelut »
Paris X gave my daughter and I a feeling of being part of Paris. We were in walking distance of the main attractions, especially the lovely Marais area, and very close to efficient bus and metro routes (we recommend the great bus map, with colour coded routes and stopping points). Yet we were tucked away on an almost traffic-free street.
The apartment is a real home from home, with pretty much everything you could need.
Didier was very welcoming, and kindly allowed early arrival and later depar.
Didier is a great host, help us in every ways he could. He is also very prompt in all his reply and assistance towards us.
We have everything in the apartment.
The main shopping belt of Paris is just 4-6 stations away.
The location - in a real "French" quarter with lots of local boulangeries, delis, small supermarkets, restaurants - real French life. Very convenient for the Metro and the Gare du Nord.
Didier was extremely helpful and friendly. Lots of places around to by food, bars and restaurants. Close to couple of metro stations and good location to explore the city.
Nice clean tidy apartment, in a pretty cobbled street with nice cafes on the street.
Only 2 or 3 mins walk from Strasbourg metro station.
Interesting area,very comfortable bed,reasonably equipped,good shower,overall very pleasant.

No oven, but you can make do with the hob and microwave easily enough.
The shower door was a bit fiddly and let water out the first few times
we used it, but again no big deal.
Everything was lovely, though a wider bed would have made it even better. It's a simple double at present I think.

We received great help for our heavy luggages. This is a small issue.

The surrounding area has homeless sleeping on the street late at night. I was sorry to see them. I guess there are unfortunate people in all large cities. The area felt safe though, even late on. :).
No kettle,no ordinary knives,no colander otherwise an excellent location but would not suit anyone looking for quiet in the evening as very noisy street when all the bars etc., are open.
