The location is truly stunning, the rooms were clean and fresh, the staff were welcoming. We sat outside taking in the beautiful scenery with a glass of outstanding vin rouge... The rooms are recently refurbished, clean and comfortable. The setting is lovely, right by the Seine, complete with ducks and nesting swans whose cygnets appeared overnight. Though close to the railway line, it really didn't intrude at all. We had an excellent meal. The staff were pleasant and willing.

Simple hotel in wonderful setting right beside 4 locks & a barrage on the Seine. On the towpath. Barges going by . On sunny evening it was idyllic eating by the window watching all that. Nice terrace in summer. One of the best steak au poivres I have had. -
