  Location is ideal. Five minutes from bus / train station and 10 to the Grotto. Room cleanliness & hygiene was excellent. No frills budget hotel. Stayed for 4 nights so couldve been nice if the hotel had offered us mountain facing rooms as rooms facing street can get a bit disturbing.   The owners were very accomidating. They graciously didn't charge us for the first night for which we were unable to stay there because we had train problems. Less than 5 minutes taxi ride to the train station. Very good wifi connection even inside the room. This allows us to watch other English TV channels via streaming on our iPads. English speaking and helpful staff...special mention to Fidela (sorry if the spelling is wrong). He even helped us to board our luggage on the taxi. Nice, clean bathroom. To

  I am delighted to say that in a town that is predominantly visited by narrow minded Catholic pilgrims that my Civil Partner and I had no problems witht the Hotel Océan in Lourdes, so the listing of Gay Friendly is very true. The Pizzaria is excellent.
