  Location was great - in city centre and only 2 minutes from metro (had the 2 most used metro lines by tourists) and local shop, rooms were good size, very quiet as off main street, great value for money and staff very helpful especially the Hungarian lady. They were always helpful when we needed to warm the milk(twice a day) for our 1.5 year old daughter. Any other request, they would be of immediate help.   I stayed at Marmotel Etoile for 6 nights because I was attending a conference at the Palais des Congres that is at 5 minutes walking distance from the hotel.   Verry calm - The price was right and our hotel room was very clean. The woman at thedesk helped us book a shuttle to the airport since we had to be at theairport before the metros started. Near Champ Elysee and Arc deTriomphe. Eiffel Tower is within walking distance. A minor metro line isvery close and a major metro line is only a bit further away.

We were only travelling for a weekend so had small, light bags and this hotel suited us well... if travelling with larger bags I would consider other options as the elevator is very small and is not accessible from the ground floor.
