  We chose this hotel because of recommendations submitted by others to the letsbookhotel.com website. We were absolutely delighted with our stay of six nights. The people at the front desk were very friendly and made us feel very welcome. We were on the fifth floor with view of the top 1/3 of the Eiffel Tower and thought that was delightful. The staff were really great and very helpful. They even provided assistance for our restaurant reservations which I truly appreciate as I've seen them get out of their way just to help us. They were also very courteous. Special thanks to Joanna who took care of the reservations, Emma who referred me to joanna as well as to the nice Man on the night shift (I forgot to ask for his name but he would definitely know who he is).   I stayed at Marmotel Etoile for 6 nights because I was attending a conference at the Palais des Congres that is at 5 minutes walking distance from the hotel.   Great location 5 minutes from the entrance to the Louvre and Metro, and walking distance to many attractions right in the middle of Paris and safe at nights when walking around. We were only travelling for a weekend so had small, light bags and this hotel suited us well... if travelling with larger bags I would consider other options as the elevator is very small and is not accessible from the ground floor.
