  A lovely lovely hotel with perfect location an fantastic staff who couldn't do enough for us. We were upgraded to a junior suite which was a pleasant surprise. The room was beatifully decorated and had all the amenieties you need. The common areas with the honesty bar were very cosy and a nice way of starting the evening. Just around the corner you have Place de la Republique with several good places to have breakfast / brunch. Our favourite was Café de la Republique. I.e. this is a good locatio - The staff were really helpful and were happy to put our stroller in the cloak room each night so we didn't have to struggle with it in the tiny elevator. Also we had left a small item behind and they were happy to post it back to us. The rooms are small, but it was enough for our little 18 month old to roam around and stretch his legs. We had the junior suite (the largest room on each floor) which was a reasonable size for a local Paris hotel.   Location was pretty good. Only 10min walk from Bastille and also 5min walk from Breguet Sabin. There were many cafes and restaurants near by the accomodation. Especially the owner, Caroline was so nice and kind that she can touch anybody come to the accomodation, and we were also touched from our hearts. We tried to charge for the damage, but she denied. - Caroline, the owner was extremely friendly and helpful. The decor was new and vibrant but most importantly clean! The bathroom in the comfort double room was fantastic and very modern. The location was great, with a vibrant traditional cafe strip at the of the road and subway stations 5 mins away. Breakfast was simple and enjoyable. This is a perfect stay for a solo traveller or young couple on a city break. Would most definately recommend it.

  The location of this hotel is perfect, in the centre of Paris yet in the peace and quiet of L'Isle de Louis. We booked a double room but were upgraded to a triple room at the top of the building. We had a huge comfortable bed and a bed settee. The room had a little balcony and a large bathroom with a bath! Very comfortable and somewhat elegant. Superior room definitely worth the extra euros as standard rooms are somewhat tight. I have stayed at each hotel on Ile St. Louis, and definitely prefer this.
