  The Location which central to tourist sites + the cleanliness of the room - The location was fantastic, the Scribe is an excellent hotel with very polite staff. The cleaniness of the rooms was very good and the bed was very comfortable. We really enjoyed our stay and would definitely stay there again.

  Although small, it was a cosy room. I had a small room under the roof. The street is quite quiet, so I slept well, beds are good. I didn't have breakfast there, so I can't tell about that.   I did not expect much from this hotel when I booked as I just needed a place close to Gare de L'est and Gare du Nord so that would be convenient for me to catch the trains to Strasbourg and Antwerp.   This is a truly lovely budget hotel. At around €100 a night for a decent- sized room with a private bathroom and shower, this is a great deal for the location. We walked there from Gare du Nord; it's also very convenient to the Metro, and there's a bike-sharing (Velib') station just outside the front door. The staff is wonderful... Overall, this is - Location is great, just 5 mins walk to the metro station (which is near the city centre and has both 8 and 9 line passing by). There are lots of restaurants nearby ( if you are a Chinese, you will like the Chinese restaurant on the left side of the hotel). Staffs are friendly and helpful and there is a small lift in the hotel.
