It's in a good residential neighborhood, with plenty of family restaurants in the area, at a slightly better price and away from the touristy area. Also fantastic bookstores and good shopping, a stones throw from the Jardin de Luxembourg. The price is slightly lower because you have to walk an extra two blocks to get to the middle of the action. Honestly, one of the better secrets for a good Paris stay.

I had a very quiet room - I was facing the courtyard/buildings so I had no noise from the street.
