  The staff were very nice. The hotel is extremely close to the Gare de l'Est, thus very convenient for me. The room was clean, with nice towels, soap and shampoo, the breakfast was good value. I was very satisfied.   After reading some reviews, I was a bit sceptical about this hotel. But after staying there for 3 nights, I should say I did enjoy my stay here. Simple, no frills hotel. The guy at the reception was friendly and speaks English well. Really helpful guy, didn't manage to catch his name though.   I liked the location because it's next to 2 metro stations... if you are arrivng by train the easiest way is to take the metro from Gare du nord to gare du l'est and you are right at the hotel's street. the breakfast is pretty much the same every day, but very good for starting the day. Room was clean and comfortable. Located very close to the Metro station and on the quiet side of the rail station. Wifi fast and available in the room with a good signal.
