  The location was great - a short walk from Gare du Nord, close to many good budget-minded cafes, and incredible jazz clubs. The view from the sixth floor (i.e. seventh) was wonderful. The staff were extremely helpful, and put up with our poor French (although some of them could switch into English). Free internet was great!   The staff were friendly and helpful, and there was someone on the front desk 24-7. The rooms were a decent size, with a good shower room, and were very clean and in good condition. We stayed on the quieter side of the hotel - we were offered the choice - and the noise really was minimal. Also, during our stay the other guests were quiet.
