The location was perfect just next to the station where the bus from
Mont Saint Michel drops off. It was lovely to walk to the Menhir and
then back into the old city for dinner. The next morning catching an

It actually is only 50m to the station and the bus stop for the 30min trip to Mont Saint Michel. Minutes walk from a beautiful little town, with an abundance of restaurants and a supermarket, this hotel is like a country pub back home. The staff are delightful and the rooms are adequate, but not flash. This makes for an affordable hotel. Our room had a shared bathroom which was kept very clean.

Right from our first contact, the staff were friendly, polite and helpful. there was no pressure to use their restaurant, which was too expensive for our budget, although the menu looked delicious. We only found one other place to eat in the village and enjoyed a nice meal at the pizzeria. The staff member who arranged breakfast was very attentiv

Le Bretagne has a good restaurant with excellent value menus. Very motorcycle friendly, I was invited to park mine in the garage next to the family's Yam 1300. Good breakfast by French standards. Indulgent hosts. Magic view of Mont St Michel from bedroom window.

Wonderful village. Must take a walk up to hill --splendid view. And we were surprised by a Crucifix overlooking the beautiful little village and a tower to Our Lady! The hosts were very nice and and helpful. Spoke English... Very nice room. Do not miss this one. We would like to go back for an extended stay. One of our best stays in France.
