We had a brilliant welcome to a lovely quaint seaside hotel. Our room was cosily quirky and the location perfect for walks and relaxation. Staff were very friendly and happily accepting of our pityfull attempts at French conversation!!. Enjoyed the location away from the busy end of the front. The view of the bay from the restaurant was excellent as was the view from the window in our bedroom.

Nice quiet location, set back from the sea, and only 5 minutes walk from all the restaurants and bars in the harbour area. I returned after my last stay about 10 years ago. If anything, the Hotel has improved. The Restaurant was excellent. Being at the quieter, prettier end of the sea front and having private parking. Friendly staff, great location. Wonderful views from breakfast room. Fabulous room would recommend the hotel but ask for room 12. Excellent location, comfort and value for money. The location. The room was charming, the location excellent, the price was reasonable. Free parking was useful. Friendly service. Good location, friendly staff, relatively quiet. View of the bay, easy parking. It was right on the route of the Tour de France which was why we went to France. If you don't like seafood, especially Moulles and Huitres......there is little reasonably priced choice in Cancale town. Enjoyed the food which was good value but wine prices too high. Nothing negative to say. The only negative was not being able to check out early (7am). Breakfast at €8 is a little too high. WiFi in the rooms would be great. At the moment it works only in the restaurant. No internet and less than enthusiastic help from restaurant staff to get it working. However, the proprietor agreed to lop 20 euros off my bill in compensation for the increased mobile data bill (tethering to my wife's phone chewed up a lot of data). So, overall, we were satisfied. Smelly shower drain in upstairs room. Little option for cuisine other than seafood - very poor for vegetarians. broken shower head, lack of tea/coffee making facilities. A bit expensive for what we got. At a shade under £100, room only, it was expensive for what it was, pokey little room, toiletries consisted of 2 sachets of gunge, food was expensive, 15Euro for a burger and chips!.
