I like the decoration of the room, very elegant and beautiful. The room is clean and provides coffee making facilities. The owner of this B & B is very nice and helpful. We drove to the hotel but we couldn't find the right way to hotel due to roadblock. We then went to the hotel by walk and asked the owener to help. He was very helpful that drove his car and led our car to go to the hotel. We really appreciated for his help. He also suggested the route we should visit in Bordeaux and recomm.
kaikki arvostelut » Myself and my brother spent 3 days at L'Invitation recently. I literally couldn't fault it at all. Fabrice was extremely welcoming and gave us some excellent tips on where to eat dinner etc. He was very knowledgable about Bordeaux and answered any questions we had. The breakfast was lovely and the hotel had free wifi throughout. I would definitely stay here again should I return to Bordeaux. Our room was quiet, comfortable and well equipped. The "staff" were FANTASTIC - friendly, helpful and very well informed about the city of Bordeaux. The breakfast was lovely too - homemade jams and yogurts plus tasty croissants and baguettes. The on-site parking was a MUST as the area was a little congested. Loved everything. Fabrice the owner was fantastic, super attentive and helpful. The rooms are lovely, very comfy bed and super clean. The location is in a slightly less desirable part of Bordeaux, but very close to the main shopping streets and tram. I couldn't recommend L'Invitation au voyage enough!. Beautiful self contained apartment. Excellent air conditioning which in summer is a god send as no fans are not common in Europe. Fabrice the ex- university professor is the best host we've ever met. Helpful, kind and charming. The Staff was Great and very accomadating, the Room was both Romatic and Extremely Clean and I would very Highly recommend it to all people, Couples or Family for every & all reasons to visit Bordeaux. The host Fabrice is a very helpful and friendly person. He gave us a very warm welcome and gave us useful information of the Bordeaux area. The room is very clean and the building is very classic. I had a great time there, I felt very welcome and comfortable. The room was fabulous, breakfast good. Interesting castle like stairs to the bedrooms. Exceptionally clean and organized. Important-facility very clean; bed extremely comfortable, bedding high quality. Location is unassuming, but near major attractions. Walkable city. Hosts very accommodating. Very friendly host with great advice. Comfy beds and spacious room for 4 people (2 adults and 2 children). Wish we knew the recipe for the delicious home made yoghurt. I liked everything. The hotel is great located, the owner very friendly and the rooms beautiful and very clean. I would stay again and recommend it!!. Really wonderful place, owner make you really feel at home. No effort is to much, really to recommend. Owner a great host, very helpful,breakfast basic but verygood ,good location centrally placed. Everything was lovely and we will be back! The parking option is particularly convenient. Very friendly english speaking staff, personal attitude. Nicely renovated rooms. The room and service from Fabrice was outstanding. The shower was a little eccentric in that the shower head was not fixed on the wall so you had to hold it while washing. nothing. Nothing, we had a GREAT Stay. The room is a little bit small. Would have liked to access a common room to be used by guests. Although very short walk to the old city, the immediate neighbourhood is slightly dodgy if walking around at night. 2Nd floor room was ok although small,no proper window, sliding door to small modern new shower room, shower hose 1mt off floor shower very weak,also modern sink no plug which got annoying,stayed 4nights. Size of room, if heavy suitcases difficult to get on second floor using narrow stairway. Footsteps from the room above in the middle of the night. Some noise from the street at night. Everything.
