It was nice there was just enough space to put the third bed next to the other two. We have 2 little ones and that way we were all very comfortable. The rooms are not very big, but big enough for the night. The beds were very comfortable. The night front desk person ( female) provided exceptional service, very patient with us. She made us feel welcomed. Room size wonderful, especially for a three star.

The beds were very comfortable. The staff were very helpful and informative about where to eat nearby, and provided a safe place for bike storage. The Provencale is very good value for money, being cheaper at the weekend than during the week. The down side of this is that the restaurant on the premises is not open at the weekend, catering more for business/conference visitors than weekend stays.Breakfast was generous and good value for money. It was cheap and (fairly) cheerful. Was a bit out of town in soul-less 'conference' district, but we knew this when we booked - all the in town ones wee sold out.Very handy for heading North to the Medoc vineyards!. Location is good for expo and conference centre. Tram line currently being finished there so in future it will be easy to get to center of Bordeaux, although bus run there now. Very good price/quality. No wall-to-wall carpet = clean floor. Possibility to open the window = fresh air. Very friendly and helpful staff. Comfortable bed and bathroom. Very quiet place. location to vinexpo. Friendly staff. That it still had rooms available during the vinexpo. Convenient to ring road. We thought breakfast was included, but it wasn'T. It was nice though they only charged half price for both kids. big problems with billing upon checkout: charged for 4 breakfasts which were not part of our bookings.com package. Also charged for two nites dinner, even though we paid up in cash to night desk person for one dinner for two the first nite. They corrected bill upon our firm insistence. Difficult to visit city centre using public transport, last bus on a Saturday night was 9:45!!!. Location - it is in a business park, no restaurant on site. The fact that the desk is closed for long periods of time at the weekend, and we had not been notified in advance of controlled gate entry codes or room numbers. Most other people arriving knew which room was for them and were able to obtain access despite the desk being closed and shuttered until 5.00pm. Was not as good as other Logis places of similar ratings we've stayed at - a bit 'tired' re decs etc. Manager also made a mistake and charged us too much, but was quick to rectify when I went back after checking with our paperwork. Hairs found on bed linen, yuk! Mattress and pillows did not have protectors on them just the sheets and pillow cases which did not appeal to me. Grouting around the bath was stained with mould. Breakfast was poor value at 9 euros!. Sound isolation quite non-existing = you hear everything from corridor (not so bad btwn rooms). Difficult to understand the system and idea with light switches. Location is really ugly. Although it is comfortable, the entire hotel looks rather fake. They say wifi in all hotel but only works in the hall and quite poor. The room was very small. The reception is very amateur. Noise. very basic more amenities in bathroom bed/mattress not great. Filthy room. Hairs in bed. Hairs in sink and bath. Dirty tiles. Room was noisy due to slamming doors in the corridor. Breakfast was cheap rubbish, not worth a euro. Too expensive for a hotel of this quality. And there was nothing to eat after 11p... Not even a snack vending machine. (Had the staff had accurate information we wouldn't have walked around the area for half an hour only to find that all the restaurants recommended to us were closing/closed). Rooms were cramped and dirty. Had to ask for fresh linen. The building was overdue for redecorating. Staff unsure of procedures and tried to charge for breakfast even when I clearly stated we did not have breakfast. I am surprised that the hotel has three stars.
