  I'm not sure what the negatives reviews were all about. People's expectations must have been set too way too high. This hotel was precisely what we presumed it would be -- a fine affordable alternative. We had no problems with the rooms or cleanliness and no issue with the matter-of-fact handling (the staff was busy with other things too). As others have reported, the food in - The room was clean and the water was hot, so it is good value. The airconditioning was amazing! The food at the hotel was very good. Perfectly located in terms of public transportation. Beach was energy sapping 10 minute walk away, but a good experience nonetheless.

Also the closest distance between parking our car and our room we have ever experienced, since their parking space is immediately outside the front door and our room was 3m inside.
