A most comfortable stay. Phillipe and Rodney are very helpful hosts always there to assist. The room was beautifully furnished with fresh flowers, very comfortable bed, unusually soft toilet paper and spacious bathroom. La Corne d'Or is situated in a quiet street just around the corner from two main squares with good restaurants and bars. kaikki arvostelut » The welcome into a stunning guest house was exceptionally warm and the hosts, Rodney and Pierre, could not do enough to make our stay a wonderfully comfortable and relaxed one. The homemade jams and cakes at breakfast are simply devine (all credit to Phillipe!), as is the decor and comfort of the rooms, but with fabulously modern facilities. The guest house is right in the heart of Arras and is perfect for restaurants, bars, cafes and shops. I couldn't recommend this place highly enough - this . Rodney is wonderful host if you are an English speaker and Phillipe has all the charm of a perfect French gentleman. The rooms are like little works of art. The whole building is like a tiny museum filled with beautiful furniture. If you like tea you are in for a treat as they have more kinds than I have ever seen. Very highly recommended. Rodney and Philippe, the owners, are very gracious and welcoming hosts and made our stay in Arras perfect. The rooms were delightfully eclectic and spacious and the breakfast simply perfect. Our room had real character and was very quiet. It was not hot despite the external temperature. Breakfast was very good and our hosts clearly were keen that we enjoy our stay. Beautiful, private house and small hotel very close to the centre of Arras. Location is exceptional, staff extremely friendly and helpful. Beautiful house and very comfy beds. Everything is pretty perfect about this bed 'n breakfast. Maybe our only concern was in not having keys or latches to lock our actual bedroom doors, but it would not deter us from staying there again. No dislikes but a wish for a really good restaurant where the chef cooks with the same level of passion, skill and creativity as has gone into establishing this business. Not as easy to find as is oposite the squre and road we thought was on. Parking tough as town full for Christmas Market!. My stay was too brief.
