A small getaway hotel which has been extended since our last stay some years ago. If the weather is good there is lots of outside space and seating areas. The staff and owner were friendly and always around as was Robert the dog!!!. A small swimming pool and a few exercise machines for those who want . Rooms are clean and functional and food in the restaraunt fine, Breakfast was Continental (what else do you expect in France). Set in a lovely quiet area and less than an hour from Calais.
kaikki arvostelut » The lady on reception who I presume was the owner was charming. She spoke good English and was very helpful. The room overlooking the garden was a decent size and had a very comfortable bed. The evening meal was very good and also on a cold night was good to be sat by a roaring log fire. This is a beautiful small Hotel in a lovely village in Picardy. The Staff are friendly and helpful and the food is wonderful. The Hotel is a lovely old building with grounds and opposite a Chateau. The hotel is in an excellentl location. Staff were very friendly, rooms excellent and food great. Would recommend this hotel to other travellers. Extremely friendly and helpful staff. Excellent food. Because the hotel was not full we had a very relaxing time before and after dinner but if full (and the outside weather unkind) ther is limited lounge/bar space. Only a minor critiscism but as an Englishmen would have preferred more breakfast for the price. It was purely continental with no cereal. Perhaps breakfast could start bait earlier than 830am. Otherwise the place is perfect. French plumbing as usual. No shower curtain. Hotel restaurant was closed on Sunday evening (though is open on this night later in the season). Not as clean as could be... The rooms and corridor upstairs need better cleaning (cobwebs). The room needed some TLC in places (old windows...). Car park is not big enough at weekend.
