We loved the room which was a converted priory complete with vaulted ceiling and chandelier. It was across the lane from the cathedral which was spectacular. Breakfast was lovely and plentiful. It was a really quiet location with a comfortable bed. It was a great base for visiting the Somme battlefields. The location of the hotel is excellent for exploring the city and bars/restaurants. The staff were welcoming and, having made a request for additional bedding, this was sorted very quickly. Despite being located next to the cathedral the room was well sound proofed. Parking is close by.

The staff were very helpful and due to a problem with the Wifi and the shower they reduced the room by 50%. The problems were minor and we were not expecting a reduction and so we were very happy. Terrific location. Step out of the hotel, turn left and there is the magnificent Cathedral! Warm welcome, Nice clean room, fresh smelling. Good breakfast but we noticed that late arrivals to breakfast had a limited choice. The room was large, the bed comfortable and there was a tv and a table and chairs and a cupboard. The staff were friendly. It was very close to the centre of the town and it was quiet. Wonderful historic building. Artistic, interesting decor. Well lit, cosy room (no11) with novel entrance way and pleasing ambience. Breakfast was good. Everything you could want. great location - walking distance from the rail station and the main part of town, as well as to tourist attractions and cafe's. Next to Notre Dame Cathedral. Friendly reception. perfect location, and in room No.4 we can see very clear the Cathedral from the bed! not a contour profile but the details near to the nose. Good and professional reception. Staff were very friendly, bathroom was big, location was right next to the cathedral and very close to St Lue. Good area to tour the battlefields and war cemeteries from. Patron extremely helpful when we had a car-hire problem: let us use his phone to ring England and so on: couldn't have been nicer about it. Architecture charming. It was a different style of hotel that we usually use. We particularly liked the unusual features and the proximity to the Cathedral and restaurants by the river. The staff were most welcoming and the facilities as described. The room was the high ceiling 'cathedral room' and was superb. I would recommend and will return. Authentic French feel. Comfortable room with fabulous view of roof tops of Amiens and the cathedral. So close to restaurants and livley bars. Helpful staff. Decent room size, nicely decorated and modern style. A short walk away is a group of restaurants and bars through the evening and a market during the day to one side and shopping on the other. Our bathroom had a large corner bath which was good for 1 night but over a number of nights might have been a pain as there was nowhere to hook the shower extension. The black out blind in the window was so good we over slept!. Room was very pretty and interesting, not just square box. It was also a reasonable size. Close by to the Cathedral and other stuff within walking distance. Car parking was easy to get to once you knew, and only 9 Euro for the 24 hours. Excellent location for Amiens. For some people the stairs could be a problem as quite steep and there was no lift. Hand held shower in a corner bath. Also, the shape of the bathroom/toilet area meant the the doors were continually banging against each other. The room was ready for a lick of paint and a re-furbish. It would have been nice to have a jug and cups in the rooms and maybe a fridge, but we managed without them. Nothing. tea & coffee making facilities in our room would of been good. no lift, but who do need that for a 3 levels high hotel. We were given only two towels for three people and even though when we asked for another they assured us we would have one, it was not forthcoming. May have just been an oversight, but annoying. Lack of parking outside perhaps not the location for disabled. The jacussi bath did not work but it did not spoil our enjoyment. Stairs were a problem for wife with two knee replacements. No onsite parking - but the amazing location makes up for it. And '3 Cailloux' secure parking was good value, and only 100m away. More information needed on nearby parking rules- the 3 cailloux carpark is very close but says it is shut on Sunday - which does not sound good if you want to get your car out. However, the ticket you get when you park has a security code on it which enables you to get into the carpark on Sunday and get your car out. You just can't put cars in there on a Sunday. parking-need to set gps for place St Michel or you will get guided into a pedestrian only area. bathtub,shower in our room needed to be a contortionist to get into it. Breakfast basic, but adequate. The Army camoflage curtains / decore in our room. Narrow stairs to the attic room. Not much. nothing. Surprisingly we were accommodated not in the hotel itself, but in the 2star residence next building; it was ok from comfort point of view, but wasn't articulated during the booking; I though, I booked the hotel Breakfast assortment is ok, but the staff rarely add new products instead of eaten; so most part of time the trays are empty; milk is the most scarce product. Little choice only at breakfast. The stairs were a bit precarious and the towels in the bathroom a little jaded/faded but fine. No lift. Stairs a little "wonky" and difficult to negotiate. No shower, just a hand shower in the bath (no place to hold it above head.) Breakfast was only average, could have been a lot better. Slow to replace items that ran out (didn't seem interested or in a hurry.). The breakfast choice was limited. Facility a bit dated. Lack of hot water in room 10 of annexe at le priests. poor modern furnishing in public rooms, all set up for conferences, no ambience no curtian in bedroom to keep floodlights out!!. 3 flights of steps with no elevator. The rooms were very basic and the whole hotel was in need of renovation.
