  The place is easily reached for Billund airport by car (15 minutes drive), but you need a car. Close to Legoland (10 minutes drive), The apartment I was allocated to is an attic with sloping roof but big enough so you do not feel tight and uncomfortable.   We stayed 1 night at Amalie B&B, located in the residential area. It was a simple set up. The room was simple with simple decor. Bed was OK -- it was good for 1 night, slept fine. The shared bathroom and shared toilet were clean. We did not try the breakfast, we wanted to head out early.   Rune is very welcoming and helpful. His English is good and he was able to tell us a bit about the area so we could make plans. I really liked the room set-up. There was a double bed for the parents and then up in the loft there were two single beds, perfect for an older brother and younger sister to have their own space. The rooms are spare with only the necesseties: clean and comfortable beds, a towel for each person - Great location, amongst many small villages and seaside towns that are interesting to explore. Also very close to, and on the same road as, Egeskov Castle. Owners/staff were very friendly and always made time for a quick chat. Really enjoyed our time here in such beautiful surroundings.

  We stayed at the B&B the night before going to Legoland so we could reach Legiland early and refreshed. Coming from Copenhagen it's a 2.5 hour drive but it on the way to Legoland so there was no big detour. Jette is super nice and has a beautiful place. It's very clean and well equipped.   Lovely quiet location in the country but near to the sea & the nearest small town. The owners were very friendly & helpful. They gave us some good tips on where to visit & then followed that up with an email to ask if we enjoyed it. - The hosts was very pleasant and helpful. The 2 bedroom was just what we wanted.
