Quite enjoy the stay here. It was cozy and comfy. The host is a really
nice guy who gave us the instructions about how to experience the local
culture. That's why we encountered an artist and experienced great
live gypsy music (rare in this cold season)! We are lucky though!

I cannot say enough good things about this hotel. What a fabulous place
to stay in Cesky Krumlov. The owner didn't speak a lot of English,
but he spoke enough for us to get by, and he was so kind, hospitable,

The whole pension is very clean and safe. The lady owner of the pension is very friendly and definitely very generous with the breakfast. With just the 2 of us, the breakfast provided is good enough to feed a family of 4. The pension is just a few steps away from the castle. Along the street, there are a number of restaurants. Really enjoyed our stay. Peter and Daniela were wonderful. They helped us out with restaurant tips and events currently happening in town.
Our room was clean and comfortable, breakfast was very good, with a variety of choices. We plan to return with our son and will definitely stay again at Penzion Onyx.

I couldn't believe how incredible this room was for what I paid!
Giant, four-poster bed, clean linens, cute toiletries -- and even a hair-
dryer in the bathroom, which I wasn't expecting in such an older
building. Having a fridge in the room was great for keeping drinks
chilled and there's a small convenience store directly next door,
which was perfect for picking up snacks, etc.
The town itself is tiny so it would be hard to be anyplace that isn't very central, But this hotel is literally 2 m

In the same building there's a bakery, next to the entrance where you can eat really nice crepes for your breakfast.
The pension has a parking about 300 m away, but you get a card so that you can drive through the old city and take your luggage just by the pension.

The owner, Vincent, was there to help us check in and show us the
layout. The rooms were comfortable and clean. Nice beds and showers. The
breakfast was generous with great fruits and local pastries. And he has
on-site ample parking that was free. And best of all the location - it
is just outside the main entrance to the city. Helps to have a gps, but
it could not find the street number for some reason. I highly recommend
this hotel.
