  It was absolutely lovely. The staff was gracious, made us feel welcome. It felt like old world charm. Of course it was expensive but it was definately worth the price. We used all the facilities, especially the fitness center. We also requested a late check-out which they accommodated. - The hotel staff was so helpful and obliging.   We loved everything about the Alchymist. We had original booked at their sister hotel but because we were travelling in a group of four there wasn't enough room so the upgrade us to this hotel. All I can say the staff were excellent, I emailed on how do we get there from the train and they sent a driver to pick us up and it was complimentary.   The charming hotel built in 1730 is extremely well located at the castle end of the famous Charles bridge just around the corner on a quiet side street. We had a huge 2 room suite with 2 fabulous king sized beds with luxurious linens, 9 foot ceilings with a frescoes ceiling in the living room and very old parquet floors throughout. As other people posted, the location within the city could not be better. It is a 30 sec walk to the bridge and the location felt very safe and secure.   We spent 3 days in Prague last weekend. Location was excellent, next to Old Town Sq.(magical at night, Christmas tree and market stalls) and Charles Bridge. Huge apartment. Great Kitchen had every modern gadget including coffee machine and microwave, although we didn't use much as we out touring Prague from 9-9pm. Tesco is - Everything! First class service from the moment we got picked up from the airport to when we left. The apartments are very clean, spacious n they have everything you need (they even provided washing powder) I couldn't believe the standard of the place for the money we paid it was outstanding n the people who work there are lovely.
