The location of this apartment was ideal: a 5 minute walk to the old town. The owner doesn't speak a lot of English but her niece was on hand for translations - both were very friendly. The A/C worked perfectly and the kitchen was suitable for preparing small meals. There were English language channels on the TV and the WiFi was reliable.
The room was quite big and quite clean .
The location is perfect, very central, so it's a great value for the money. In 5 minutes you can reach the bus/train station, market or Diocletian ruins.kaikki arvostelut »
The friendly and helpful staff (speak better German than English), the clean and spacious room, the excellent location (in 5 minutes one reaches Split cathedral by foot), the great bathroom.
Location was good although a bit dark and scary at night.

Decent location, owner was friendly but didnt speak much english so things took some time to understand each other.
The hot water could be unpredictable but we soon discovered that for both of us to have a warm shower we needed to be quick. Perhaps the tank was smaller than we're used too. Minor issue really.
The furniture is quite old and mismatched.
The wi-fi internet did not work well, but the family who lives upstairs gave us their password.
The bathroom ventilation makes lots of noise.
Parking is difficult in Split but I just asked one of the staff members to help me and then I got a perfect (and free) parking place, so actually nothing bad about this place.
Only thing I can comment on is shower not very warm- but Croatia is very
hot anyway so not too much of an issue.
It is impossible to drive to the place even only for unpacking because of a too narrow street. The street is so small that locals don't know it and it is impossible to find the location without telepnone instruction by the owner. We had to park,more than 1/2 km away because there was no space nearby.
A/c is a bit on the weak side. And there were somebodys underwear in one of the closets.. having stayed at 3 other places in croatia with the same rate.. it could have been cheaper considering quality/deco etc. Nevertheless does the job.
