I travel quite often and have never seen this level of attentiveness to
detail in the design of a space, or in how you are treated by the owner
(I absolutely loved the 1700 year old Diocletian Palace wall in the
bathroom covered in glass and beautifully lit). Toni went above and
beyond to make my stay enjoyable. He met me at the bus station to help
with my bags then asked if I wanted a quick tour of the city to get my
bearings; I thought this was fantastic as there were things I

We were greeted warmly and Toni helped with our bags from the old city gate to his apartment. The minute he opened the door, cool air and soft jazz music pipping through the stereo greeted us. The pictures of the apartment did not do it justice. The modern furniture and the old well preserved walls and archway surprisingly blended together very well to create a very luxury and comfortable surrounding. I appreciated the little touches of fresh cut roses in the vase and complimentary chocolate.
The Golden Palace was the best accommodation we have experienced on any vacation -- not only do the amenities rival luxurious hotels, but the owner, Toni, has poured an incredible amount of time and energy into ensuring that his guests enjoy Split to its fullest.

I was looking to stay in a hotel in Split and although it didn't
have many reviews (because it is brand new), I ended up picking Golden
Palace - easily the best accommodation decision I have made. The
interior is impeccably modern and the way that it is integrated into the
1000 year old Split old-town wall has to be seen to be believed.
Toni was an amazing host and made sure that every need was catered to - even provided a mobile phone solely to ring in case of any troubles. A free tablet was p.
The host Tony was incredible and very accommodating. He emailed us ahead of time to help plan out our trip to croatia. He gave us information of places to see and go to during our trip. Having Tony meet us at the bus station and take us to the apartment was very generous and put us at ease in a new foreign country. Tony went over the top to make us feel at home and since it was our honeymoon he and his wife decorated the room with rosé pedals, balloons and a box of chocolates. We couldn't ask .
A wonderful apartment within the old Palace. I just loved the wall which you see through glass in the bathroom. The owner made us feel at home and helped us park our car and get into the city. He also showed us around and made reservations and spend a couple of hours explaining about Croatia and how its changed over the years.
I have rented a lot of apartments and houses but I have never felt as welcome as I did at the Golden Palace. Its perfect. And if you stay in Split then you should not mi.
Toni is a super host that shown us a bit of his wonderful town as soon
as we arrived. He also did give us tips on where to go to enjoy the best
of Split. The apartment is perfect and you get just what you see on
pictures. Location couldn't be better, just within old town walls.
This place is not only about the perfection on every detail Toni put
in... It is also about experiencing the warm welcoming of a croatian guy
that knows how to do things in a perfect way! A must!.
This is a brand new luxury apartment, incorporated into the unesco listed old city wall. The owners go above and beyond to help, they even look for free parking in split. On arival there is a lovely bowl of fruit and a very fast internet. The apartment is very quiet, air conditioned and has a very comfortable bed. Highly recommended as a great base for a lovely city. The apartment is even nicer than tbe photos.
Toni, the owner, is the perfect host and has created a gem of an apartment within the fabulous Palace of Split. Great apartment, with many personal touches including essential provisions and local attraction recommendations which made for a first class visit to a wonderful city.

The apartment was a beautiful, clean, fully furnished accommodation in a perfect location to experience all that Split has to offer. Toni was the perfect host, he goes above and beyond for his guests! We could not have asked for a better stay!. The apartment is sleek and sophisticated. Great for a style conscious group of friends or a romantic getaway. Toni (the owner) was really friendly and helpful.
