Location of the hotel is really great, close to all historical places, a lot of restaurants near. The most important that the hotel is really clean. We booked it online so we had no idea how it will really look like, but when we got to the hotel we were surprised how clean it is and what a great location it has. And the price for is low. The staff is so helpfull and friendly, the woman on the reception gave us a map and explained which places we can visit and where we can find a good food.
kaikki arvostelut » The refurbishing area of Getsemani is coming along. The hotel was undergoing an extensive remodel at the time along with the road in front. Most people would not have liked that but when it's all done the owner Henry will have a very nice place. Great food close by and a 5 minute to the wonderful walled city. Safe to walk at night but you need to be a seasoned South American traveler otherwise the high end brand name resorts would be better. We stayed at a matrimonial room, the room was really clean and comfortable. The cable tv and air-con was functioning well. So facilitywise, it was all smooth. The staff were wonderful, and the little dog was cute. Great rooms, comfy beds, good wi fi. Great distance from all the attractions. Good clean hotel, 5 min walk from the walled city. Rooms are basic but clean, no complaints. Location was great. Staff was great. A/C worked great. Well priced. The staff is very receptive. The location couldn't be better. Simple and good value--very helpful staff. Friendly and helpful staff. Resonable place to stay close to the old city. It was the cheapest one on the site. They were able to change my room at 1am because of my complaint of sleeping in what felt like a sauna. The remodel-we had an old room. The daytime noise of the workers but we are a bit more laid back than most travelers. One business man checked out after 1 night as it was too much for him. There are better locations in Cartagena to be honest, the streets next to the hotel are really dirty and dodgy. The cleaning maids are friendly but the staff is ice cold, the receptionists are not the friendliest people. So I recommend you to choose somewhere else if you expect some kind of warm welcome. The street the hotel is located on is a bit grim, just a little colourful maybe. But we didn't have any problems. Not really a big deal but the hotel's next to a church, so if u plan on sleeping in on a Sunday, keep it in mind. I missed a refrigerator in the bedroom. Not luxurious rooms, but they don't claim to be. Definitely spend the extra money on an air conditioned room! Also be prepared for a raucus church service at 6am Sunday next door... No problems at all. It was expensive for what it was offering compared to what was available when we searched on foot. The room felt like a bathroom with tiles on the walls. Very very very humid without ac, could not sleep!! I woke up the employee at 1 asking for another room. Both rooms needed a lot of tlc!!.
