Stay in River View Hotel. Yangshuo is quite a small city but I really
liked the location! Very charming place with a very nice balcony just in
front of the Li River. Next to the hotel there is a small local market
where you can buy souvenirs and stuff and it is also 5 min walk to
animated streets with bars and restaurants. It is though a calm plac

The location was good -- close to the action but far enough away not to
be bothered by any noise -- it was on the river. Reception staff,
particularly Angela and Lucy, were very helpful -- arranging several
tours for us. Room and hotel could use some tlc, ie we had a cracked
sink, water leaking from our toilet and some broken tiles in the
bathroom. However, value was pretty good for the money that we paid. The
restaurant had good Western and Chinese food,

It was truly an amazing experience. This was our third time to China and
we have stayed at many hotels, this by far was the most wonderful. They
met us with a glass of cool lemon tea which is a welcome blessing in

This is a beautiful boutique hotel. The rooms are spacious and comfortable with 2 air conditioning systems.
The staff are very friendly and helpful with good English language skills.
The food is more geared to those from the west with some traditional Chinese cuisine. Both, however, are excellent.
