  Hotel location is in a good part of the city. The stuff is doing everything to satisfy customers. At first, we have been located to a room that we didn't like. We explained to reception our complaints and asked for room change. But unfortunately all same level rooms were occupied.   Location, location, location! I stayed here twice. The hotel is close to the train station - People's Square, exit 14. It's in walking distance to East Nanjing Rd without all the noise. You can also walk to the Bund really easily. The staff are super friendly and speak English well. Breakfast was ok-good as it was included, no complaints there. It was disappointing I didn't get the same kind of r - The ambience of the hotel was really good all through out the hotel, the interior design from the lobby to the reception to the restaurants and especially the rooms is outstanding. The staff were very helpful and eager to serve in whatever way they can. From helping to arrange sightseeing tours or mapping out places to go, or picking up a taxi. The staff spoke very good english, especially the concierge.

  The hotel is very well located downtown, at a walking distance of many attractions. Rooms are clean and confortable. Staff is professional and efficient.Our room was supposed to be located at a lower floor but we asked for a quiet room and we have been upgraded to the 7th floor. There is a good local network cafe Wagas near the hotel where there is western food and good coffee for China. Check in and check - The hotel is one of the better one in shanghai for the money. Staff try very hard to make your stay enjoyable. While English is poor from some of the staff we managed to work out what I wanted. I had the bellboys get cabs for me in the pouring rain and did it with a smile. There are two restaurants in the building that are both very good quality but I would have to say the element fresh was very good value for money and the food was fantastic. Great hotel and would stay there again.
