  The location is fantastic (I lived in shanghai before and it is for me the best district in terms of charms, local designers' shops and underground bars) And it is very central. The staff was very nice apart from the reception desk (blasé) but it can become a game to try to make them smile... They would need to relax a bit and be more friendly. For those desperately in need of 'croissant' in the morning there is a - Nice location in the middle of French Concession. A lot of restaurants and spas are in the walking distance. Quiet place. Double room is ok with enough space for 1 person. Wired internet is free of charge.

  Friendly staff who all tried so hard to accommodate my needs. Had trouble printing out my online flight check-in and the manager was most patient and helpful. Nothing was too much trouble. Easy access to the Bund and heart of modern pulsing Shanghai. Hotel was right in the middle of two extremes, which made my experience so more enjoyable. Great value for money and I will definit - this is an excellent hotel, with great service. check-in was easy. the rooms have just enouth luxury to make you feel you're in a high-class hotel, it had a nice view of city. and the rates are very affordable. breakfast was nice, it had both western and chinese food. the location is very good because it is within a walking distance from the bund river. i would definitely stay at the riverview hotel again.
