I am a true fan of the Opposite House. I stay once a year there, when on Business in Beijing. The staff is very helpful and is happy to take care of many issues, which would cost you a lot of time doing yourself, such as printing business cards etc. The rooms are great, with all facilities you want, nice coffee, great music system, free mini-bar. building is a part of a closed structure of approx. 10 buildings such as
this one. It is surrounded by a fence and there is a guard at the
entrance (nice) (It's not like it is unsafe neighborhood). Inside
there is a tennis court, and plenty of grass. Although it is not located
in the city center, it's 10 minutes walk from mtr station
(dongimen), than it takes about 4 stops to the Tiananmen square. The

Our entire family enjoyed our stay at the Peninsula. The room was spacious, clean and thoughtfully designed. I love how the desk area is separated from the rest of the room. It allows me to do some work while the kids are watching a movie. The management really pays attention to the details which made our stay extremely comfortable. -

Family room was fantastic, (5 adults) large and comfy beds with a large lounge area. Staff very attentive (particularly Raoul) in catering to needs and providing helpful suggestions for trips. Close to wangfujing street with lots of shopping and less than 5 mins walk to metro. Decor of hotel very grand with beautiful staircases and impressive entrance! Would definitely recommend this hotel (and whole family would too!)
