Nice hotel with good rooms and good beds. Very good to stay at if you are planning to fly the next morning. The free shutte bus will just take 5 minutes to the airport. In some way you get the feeling that this hotel has an American or European manager. It is the only hotel I have been to in China that is running like a normal western hotel. Effic

Very convenient for Pudong airport transfers. Room was very comfortable and well kitted out with kettle and variety of toiletries. There is a treadmill on site, free and fast Internet, and free shuttle that goes to the airport regularly. Lifts are very quick despite 9 floors of rooms. Doormen are excellent at helping ith cabs if you can't speak Chinese.

W stayed just one night in this gloriously comfortable hotel which was close to the airport for our onward flight. We ate vegetarian food in one of the private rooms in the Royal China restaurant and it was extraordinary and incredibly good value at £18 for several courses for both of us. Luxurious Rooms, Awesome Restaurant, Staff was extremely attentive. We had a wonderfull stay. We were awakened at midnight, opened our drapes and were treated to a wonderful display of fireworks right in front of our floor to ceiling windows. Chinese New Year Celebration. This is a great hotel to overnight between flights to and from Shanghai Pudong airport. I arranged - at short notice - for a (free) hotel pickup at the airport, and this worked perfectly; I also took the hotel bus - again gratis - back to the airport (c. 15 minutes) the next morning. Short taxi ride from pvg airport,shopping mall at the back of the hotel
and easy walk to busy shopping areas.Great room service, excellent
bathroom. No problems finding English speaking staff and all were
courteous and friendly.Room was much better than I expected for the
money paid. Free shuttle bus to airport as well! Hint: when travelling
by taxi have the phone number of your hotel for the driver, they dont
speak english but will ring the hotel for directions.

Staff was nice. They spoke some English which was a pleasant surprise. Basic room. Had to leave very early to catch a flight, so don't know about the breakfast. -
The staff is very friendly only nobody speaks English.
