I loved the "homey" atmosphere, interesting guests and the friendly and helpful staff. The owners Rodrigo & Danni have put a lot of thought into the decor so there's lots of artistic touches everywhere. The kitchen is very well appointed and always kept clean. There's even a variety of condiments (oil, vinegar, various spices,etc) to use as you like. Beds really comfortable with lovely feather doonas for the cooler nights. Good location- near enough to Bellavista but without the bar noises,.

The food is another strong point. Although the breakfast is quite common, the hostel has fruits that you can eat anytime you want. It's the most comfortable, clean and home-atmosphere hostel I've ever stayed! The staff was very friendly and helpful and I loved the kitchen that everybody can use any time. And just great design! Close to Bellavista but not in the heart of it, so you can sleep quietly in the night. When you have staff as helpful as R&C at Nomades Hostel it can really make the difference in your stay. Very clean and out of a interior design magazine. I would definitely stay again. Very friendly and helpful host and staff. Very cheerful and artsy decor and clean which made the stay pleasant & homey, and a great base to explore all of Santiago. Its a beautiful hostel, very attractive and comfortable. I have come to a snowboard trip by myself, so I was looking to a place to rest and be quiet after the long days snowboarding. The hostel provide me that because it is not very crowed. If you are looking to meeting people and party, thats not the place you are going to do, but theres plenty places near by that you can do it. Nothing!. my room was above the road and traffic noise was a little loud for my taste, even with ear plugs. WiFi did not work - either in room or when the hostel had multiple people around. Had one person at reception who wasn't always around to buzz open the door. staff often absent from front desk, traffic noise in the morning.
