I really enjoyed my stay at EcoExplor. Victor, the owner, was really helpful and comprehensive while I had paiement problems. The hostal has a great atmosphere, a kinda mad max one but stylish. Nice to chill and relax in the hammock or the little house in the tree. Rooms are cleaned everyday, beds are comfortables, bathrooms are perfects. I highly recommend this hostel for anyone whos wants an original stay in San Pedro, to feel like a real adventurer. The hostek has wifi for free with good br.

This place will suit independent travellers who for the most part are happy to look after themselves and want to kick back and relax in San Pedro and don't need to be right where the party is. The place has everything it needs - private rooms, 2 bathroom/showers shared between them, a relaxing porch/courtyard /hammock area, modest kitchen, laundry and friendly pooch Our host Víctor is very welcoming and helpful and is either b. Victor was a great host. The rooms were really nice and secure. The garden was a great little area to relax. Hot showers. Little cheap supermarket round the corner. 5 mins walk to the Main Street and 2 mins from the bus station. Lea the other owner was excellent as she really helped us with an issue that arised with the tour to bolivia . Thanks so much Lea. Both Lea and Victor speak English fluently. The staff. Victor and Lea are the best hosts I have come across in my travels. They went out of their way to provide me with excellent information about what to do do in San Pedro and best value for money activities. They both have a rare combination of professionalism and friendliness. Thank you guys for making our trip to San Pedro so memorable for my son and me!. Victor is a great dedicated host with vast knowledge about San Pedro de Atacama. He helped us with planning our trip and was very welcoming. The hostel has a very relaxed atmosphere, very easy going. The location is a nice 10 minute stroll to the city center. The staff are great, really friendly. Comfortable beds and outside common area and clean. Not quite in the city centre, but a 5 minute walk and just around the corner from where the bus will drop you. Really enjoyed our stay and would totally recommend it. Victor is a very frindly-funny and helpfull Person-any questions about Tours he will answer and give you the best advices - he has been a Tour Guide for 15 years - hostel very quiet - no noise - close to the bus Station - wifi - and clean bathrooms!. I stayed in EcoExplor for 3 night in a shared room. The room was clen and the there was a shared bathroom. The owner is a very nice and helpful guy who is there for you all the time to make it sure that you wont miss a thing in San Pedro de Atacama. Victor and Lea are very helpful (especially for suggestions on tours, restaurants and shops) and kind. The hostel is quiet and safe. The hostel is located very near to the cheapest supermarket of the town and the great restaurant "Chofy". Victor is very friendly and helpful. He will give u all the information about San Pedro and can help you to book the tours. Rooms are basic but clean. The hosts are very nice. The place is definitely a hostel, so it is a good place to camp out in the desert for a while. Near the bus terminal. Just walk a few mins to the main street. facilities and comfort. Host very helpful, easy going. l. Nothing. Everything was great. Wifi is a little unstable but not a serious problem. We arrived with another couple and neither of our rooms were ready but I think this doesn't always happen. (we arrived in the morning). They have not longed open so Im sure they are on it, but the Kitchen could do with more utensils. Oh and a bride would be handy. The hostel is fairly small and all the rooms are directly at the common area Everything was a bit rough around the edges, but first this didn't bother me much and second this might get better when it is open for longer, since they seem to only have opened recently. There is no sign outside the hostel, so know it is beside the "Sol de Atacama" hostel. As a traveller it is hard to locate, and the tour companies do not know where the hostel is either. There is no reception, so if Victor or Lea are not around it is difficult to be served. The hostel is pretty new but I don't know why they don't put up an makeshift sign outside. It's pretty hard to find when u first arrive as the driver and the tour agenies don't know this place. The facilities were still not complete when I stayed there. It is a bit rough around the edges. Nothing.
